Asus EEE Blinking Cursor

Recently a customer brought an Asus EEE 1005HAB that was powering on and only displaying a blinking cursor. After some searching around I found several people who mentioned a similar issue and that they resolved this by pressing the F2 button, which is the button to get into the BIOS. I tried this and it worked, I was able to get into the BIOS. I didn't make any changes, I just exited and it rebooted to resuming from hibernation. This seems to a common issue with Asus computers and Windows Vista/7 hibernation.

In short, if you have this issue, just mash that F2 button and hope you get into the BIOS.  I would also recommend disabling hibernation until a fix is found.
